Poison Oak

I remember the corridor that had existed for the past two years.  Entombing feelings of loneliness, hate, disgust, hope, anguish, anxiety, excitement, numbness, and sometimes not a single feeling at all.  The cold stale space that was the entrance to a home, has now exploded with life.  The walls that once trapped, are now themselves being engulfed by something more.  Life has now become wild and dangerous with excitement. It cannot be controlled. And though it has gone unnoticed in the past, the sun shines brightly now more than ever. This time, everything feels like the way it always should have.
